Abstract Research purpose. Against the backdrop of climate change, pressure is growing in transport sector to reduce CO 2 emissions. Numerous companies are therefore setting specific targets curb emissions their own vehicle fleets. As a rule, this requires replacement combustion vehicles by with alternative drives. In addition selection suitable technologies, economic aspects play prominent role transformation process. Based on practical case study, potential implementation strategies for achieving target be examined parcel service provider.
